"Device in use" error with VirtualDub

Hi,

I get this error when trying to capture with my nVidia VIVO card. The card is AOpen GeForce4 128 MB TI4200 8x AGP. Using WinDVR works fine.

You don't happen to be using WinXP are you? I have the same problem. I just boot up under Win2000 and everything is fine. I dual boot between the two OS's. If you have a similar option, I would go with that. I know it doesn't solve the XP problem, but I don't feel like tracking down that problem since 2000 works just as well for me.

I do have one question. Do you happen to know what field order your card captures in? Is it top first or bottom first? I ask because I also have a Ti4200 (it's a Gainward 4x version though) and I don't know the field order capture. I can't find the information anywhere. It is important for me to know to deinterlace properly. Thanks.
