i am trying to make a video with one of those sceenes that is of just a road but it is sped up so it looks like the cars and stuff are moving realy fast. any ideas, freeware prefrably, or ulead videostudio 6.

I know that Windows Movie Maker can speed up in exponents of 2 (2x, 4x, 8x, 16x, 32x) and you'll be able to save as a uncompressed AVI instead of wmv.

I don't know if VideoStudio has the same feature, but Ulead MS Pro allows you to right-click on the video clip and the pop-up gives you an option to change the speed of the clip. You can also split the audio from the video clip if you don't want the audio to change.

Ulead's VideoStudio 7 claims to have speed adjustment. You could either upgrade or maybe the trial version has enough functionality to do what you want. Hope this helps.

thanks, i dont think they have an upgrade, they did for 5 to 6 though so hopefully they will soon, im gonna go look at those features
