    Hi I want to rip chapters/ scenes of music from a variety of dvds and put them on one dvd with 5:1 sound and english optional subs.

    I have used dvd2svcd to make svcds and know u can use it to make dvds. This seems the easiest as will cut at the chapters automatically, however how do i do the subs part.........

    Any help out there will be greatly appreciated......

    download "suprip" from the tools section of this forum. Also, check out the guides section and find a guide for DVD-9 TO DVD-5 using DVD2SVCD. I'm almost positive that particular guide uses "suprip" for subtitles, if it doesn't, you can find one of the guides which do use subrip and it's all right there.
