Does it play OK on your PC? Have you tried another DVD player?

Half the Panasonics in the compatablity section here....say they dont play CDR but most play CDRW...look up your model and check it. Same with some RCAs

If it plays on your computer DVD drive and works fine....it is the standalones compatability....not your VCD...or method used to create it.

My friends Panasonic plays VCD but not CDR....so unless he has factory VCD it no use.
He also has a High price dual scan Samsung that Plays VCD, SVCD and CDRs but all the VCDs I make play great on my APEX and skip like a maniac on his Samsung...I'll assume his Samsung only plays "standard" discs....but I aint got none of those.....
