    hi please can someone hel me
    i have downloaded a movie file in .rar i have used win rar to "unrar" it but i now have a .bin file how do i canvert this into a .avi or .mpg

    the .bin is a ready to burn file containing the avi,mpeg, or whatever.
    you could simply burn the bin to cdr. or
    you can access the bin file with a program called isobuster and extract the file within. peace

    i apreciate ur reply but when i burn the .bin using nero i just get garbled stuff on my tv.
    i have watched vcds from my dvd plyer before and they were perfect

    If you have the .cue file then tell your burn software to open the .cue file and burn it.
    If you don't have the .cue file, then look for vcdgear from the Tools section on the left, download and install it. Use vcdgear to convert the bin file to mpg, then use Nero to create a vcd disk.
