Hi all
My problem is i am trying to convert a avi. film {Grease} that has video at 15.002fps and Mono sound. VirtualDub says the sound is: Sampling rate 11025Hz Sample Precision 8-bit Compression PCM {Uncompressed} When i play the movie in WMedia Player the sound is ok, but if i extract the audio in VDub either direct stream copy and save as wave, or full processing mode, when i encode the film in Tmpge the sound comes out with really bad crackling. i have even tried encoding the film straight through Tmpge without extracting the audio first. is there any way to get rid of the crackling noise when the film is converted?
any help or advice would be great.
Please help i have got a Teenage daughter who has suddenly developed the hots for John Travolta![]()

Are you using Toolame or some other external audio encoder? If not, you should be. Toolame is in the Tools section along with instructions on setting up TMPGEnc to use it. Try that first.
