    i've been trying to find the best settings for converting avi to mpeg1 with tmpgenc .on the mpeg settings, advanced tab,video arrange method i've been trying to find the best manual sizes for the centre (custom size) setting.the default is 320x 240 but this leaves a border right around does anyone know the best size that leaves no border but doesn't look streched. thanks

    Most people use Full Screen (Keep Aspect Ratio) to make the film as large as possible and keep it in it's original format. It shouldn't be squished or stretched but you will get bars top and bottom on wide screen films. 8)
