    being squished:::

    if the avi in the letterbox is 4:3 ( not squished on your monitor) than you shouldn't remove the letterbox cause the movie will then be squished on your monitor.

    If you want to remove the letterbox ( to get a 16:9 or whatever form)
    open the avi in virtualdub video full process, add filter null transform, cropping ( cut the letterbox out of the picture) audio direct stream copy, adjust video compressiuon and save your avi
    Anyone tired of his old DVD burner? Why put it into the trash? Contact me! :))))
