hello. I'm really interested but really unsure about how to perform Inverse telecine on video for encoding into MPG2 for DVD. I use Premiere 6.0 and capture with a Matrox RT2000 and encode usually with TMPGenc.

I'm afraid someone is going to tell me to use Virtual Dub and AVisynth, but I've found that these programs can't take on HUGE files. And also sometimes the end product will be unacceptable to Premiere.

Also a question is the audio: Say that a person actually does perform an inverse telecine on some video, does it use the same untampered with audio track??

Fiinally, say you have performed the ivtc and everything is set out in Premiere's timeline, Do you just export to TMPGenc and check the "pulldown on playback" box?

If someone can answer these questions and explain what it is I need to do for this, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks.
