I've converted a couple of animated dvds to svcd, Caillou and Blue's Clues. I use DVD2SVCD and . When I play the finished product on my computer, the picture is fine. If I play it on a stand-alone dvd player, when the animated character moves, they flicker. It's happened on both Caillou and Blue's Clues rips. I've converted many regular dvd movies which have turned out fine. Is there a particular setting one has to choose for animated/cartoon dvds? Deinterlace?
I'm in North America (Region 1, NTSC).

    Thanks

  4. IF YOU ARE ENCODODING WITH TEMPENC. GO TO THE MATRIX TAB IN DVD2SVCD AND USE THE MATRIX SETTING (TEMPENC 12I GC). THIS IS THE MATRIX THAT IS SUITABLE FOR ANIMATION
