I was planing on buying a dvd writer this weekend and wanted to know how I would go about copying Playstation 2 games.

most ps2 dvd games are dvd5 so you can simply make a straight copy...there are currently only two games out right now that are dvd9

I have a PS2 so if I were to back up my games, so would I be able to use them without modifying my system?

what are the two games that are out now that are dvd 9 and has anyone attempted to get them working? Best way I ahve found to backup games is DVD decrypter iso mode read ---- the ISO mode write!

the 2 games are metal gear substance and xenosgear, and the rest of the games you just do a straight copy and yes you do need a modchip
