I was wondering what I should be setting my sound quality at in Tmpg. I have currently been using the default of 224 (or whatever it is) but was wondering if I should use 128 or 196 to save space for video. Will I notice the difference? Which should I use?
Thanks

depends on your setup. on my mono tv i cannot tell the difference between 224 and 128.
His name was MackemX

You'll notice the difference if slide below 128, 160 and higher would be a better choice.

Thanks for the reply. I just use the stereo speakers built into my TV so I should be fine with 160 or 192.

if your just watching via your tv then drop the audio bitrate to 128kb/s. you'll never notice the difference and you'll be able to up the video bitrate for a better video quality. i do this every time.
