I get cracks/pops/and slurred audio at time with Intervideo Recorder, he is my specs.
Capture Card : Leadtek Winfast 2000 XP
CPU : XP 2500 +
Memory : 1 gig Cosair PC 2700
Capture Drive : Seagate 10,000 RPM SCSI
HD is formated and only contains the movie I am trying to capture.
I am trying to capture VHS -> DVD. I have changed quality from DVD to 1/4 DVD doesnt matter audio still messes up. It does say in sync however.
No garbage programs are loaded into memory. Im kinda at a loss here.
Is there another program I should look into using? Everything else I have used I get a great capture but run into major lip sync issues when I burn to DVD, this program seems to aviod the lip sync problem but the frequent audio problems (every 45 seconds or so) kinda ruins it.
Any ideas/help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks in Advance

If you want a quality DVD, then you have to capture to AVI then edit and convert to Mpeg-2. Windvd Recorder is only good for poor quality, quick, and dirty video. There is no easy way in good Quality video.
Got my retirement plans all set. Looks like I only have to work another 5 years after I die........ -
Ah...Thanks fo rthe info... What proggie should I use to do avi capture?
Besides VirualDub...Im having trouble outta that thing trying to follow the guide on here. -
You might want to try Ulead Video studio. It can capture, edit, and burn DVD with chapters. You can download a free trial version from thier website. Another good one is Pinnacle Studio.

There is a high probability that just your input audio level is set too high.
Please reduce both the record level in Intervideo's program under Setup Device and then
right click on your volume control in Windows to access Play Control and switch to Record Control via the Properties dialog. Here reduce the level of your input source.
Give it a shot! I had that also before when recording TV via composite from my satellite dish. -
Ahh...Ill give that a try. I finally got Virtual Dub to work.
Everything worked fine except I couldnt get it to capture in
anything other than 320x240. I am inputting with a Hi-8
camcorder I was hoping to get a little higher quality.
It keeps giving me Error 418: Unsupported Format
Ill really appreciate the help guys. Finally got a movie onto DVD with perfect lip sync now see if I can get a little higher on the quallity. -
I´m using the intervdeo recorder and everything is fine, but i have to set the video to Pal_m because I live in Brazil.
everytime I turn the software off and on again i have to set up to palm again.
IS there a way to set up to pal_m as a default?
thanks
