  2. Ifoedit does but you can't author in the traditional sense such as menus etc.. that is unless your rebuilding a rip of a dvd then you can retain the menus but you can't author your owne, but it is free.. A full authoring app that does is NeoDVD Plus its only 60bucks, but it is limited kinda basic newbie proggie. Also Magix Movies to CD and DVD does 39 bucks at circut city but once again very basic, your limited to their templates for menus. If you wasnt full control but ac3 support your looking at 300 or so. You get it with Ulead DVDworkshop for 300 bucks, but at that it only handles them if your audio is already ac3, if you want it to transoce other audio into ac3 you gotta buy an add-on pack for like 150 bucks more. Ummm DVDit PE Supports 2 channel ac3 but its 599buicks.

DVDit! PE 2.5 does. It will accept or convert AC3 with no sync problems. Buy it at www.sonic.com or acquire from other means. I use it a lot. Buy it. I did. It was worth it. FYI, the LE and SE versions don't do AC3.

  4. DVD Movie Factory 2 from Ulead is not supposed to support AC3, but it does. For details, see this thread:

Another product that looks interesting, claims to support AC3, but is not yet released is DVDlab by Media Chance. See:

    http://www.mediachance.com/dvdlab/index.html

The following thread claims that DVDlab will be out within a few days:

  5. OK, next question:

How do I create AC3 audio? Or where do I get it? Or whatever? Can I apply it to my home movies?

  6. You have tp demux, I'd use tmpegenc open it close wizzard choose file/mpeg tools then pick the tab Simple demultiplex. Press the button and let it do its thing. You will then have a .m2v file your video, and a .mp2 file your audio. ZDownload bsweet and bsweet gui from doom9.org input your .mp2 file pick a output directory hit the mp2 to ac3 button and let it do its thing, now your sound is ac3
Bsweet gui is pretty easy to figureout with some common sense though nowadays its more like raresense.
