please help!!
I am trying to burn a dvd9 onto dvd5.I have ripped the dvd to hd using dvd encrypter.I then open instantcopy as per the instructions on this site. When i press start and the select soarce file appears there is nothing in it.I select all files in the file type dropdown and the ifo and vob fioles appear.I select the ifo file and the program starts to work.I then get an error saying"Access violation at address 40006948 in module 'rtl70.bpl'.Read of address 11CE5247."I then press ok and instantcopy shuts down. What have i done wrong?
Please help.
Many thanks,Ryan.

Just making sure...Did you rip in file mode? Don't rip in ISO. When you start IC, did you browse to the folder dvd decrpyter put the movie in? You then select the video_TS ifo file I believe. You shouldn't need to select 'all files'.

I had the movie already ripped with Decrypter to my hard drive, I used Instantcopy but it made five images with the extension pdi but they total the same size of the original DVD, still they would not fit in one DVD. Do I have to choose some other format to make it fit into one dvd?
Thank you. -
I don't know. I've only had 1 DVD9 that Instant Copy couldn't put on one 1 DVD5. I decrpyt in file mode, selecting all files. I then point IC to the ifo file in the video_ts folder using the default setup.

I just posted my method for ripping and burning DVD9's. I only go for the movie though, no extra's or anything.
More to your personal problem, with this question, you need to use IFOedit to create your IFO's. When you open a file in IC7 you open the VIDEO_TS.IFO, you'll need to create that with IFOedit, make sure you get VTS sectors when you do. -

I learned my lesson. I don't have a DVD burner yet, I'm just evaluating InstantCopy to see if in fact there is a noticeable difference between the original and the copy and honest, I can not notice a difference, at least, in my computer, I don't know in the TV. I hope to get a DVD burner soon to do a complete evaluation.
