How to find more sources on Kazaa?

Hi,
I'm using Kazaa Lite 2.0, and a couple of my downloads are having trouble finding sources. I've heard of some things that are supposed to help with this, something called "Speed up", and "fast track accelerator", or something like that.
Can anybody give me any information on either of these? Do they really help?

both of these programs are included in the zip file when you download kazaalite from their website. i've never used these two programs myself but i've heard that they do a good job. i seem to have good speed without them on my cable connection.

Those programs were in 2.0 but not the current 2.0.2 . Yes they do help, quite a lot actually. I would be very very careful, as you can easily choke a cable modem or firewall to death with just 4-5 d/l's (5 d/l times 6-7 threads each is 35 threads, hope your running W2K/XP).

What do you mean by "choke" a cable modem or firewall to death? Does that mean it could kill them so they don't work?? Like overload them?

Just search under software for Kazaa Speed-up

The latest versions of K-lite have an option called "auto search more" just above the search box. This keeps searching and searching (and searching), until EVERY source is found. No 200 result limit. And FT Acc is included. Leechy, yes!, but it works. It also sets your participation level to 1000 and keeps it there...

I use it all the time with my DSL and so far no problems

with out the speed up i get like 30 kb/s
with the speed up... +300 kb/s
