  1. Have an Mpeg2 file with a video error I cannot seem to correct. This movie was screwed up by Nero :\

TMGEnc originally reported a bad audio. TMGEnc would not correctly extract the audio by de-multiplexing but did get it out intact and repaired with Goldwave. But, now I cannot get the video out. De-multiplexing with TMGEnc dies at 27% to give a 220mb file (vs 790mb).

Nothing seems to work. Have tried:

    1. Demultiplex (simple & complex). Incomplete mpeg ideo.
    2. vcd gear (mpeg>mpeg) with fix mpeg checked. Result - complete mpeg but error still present. (can't multiplex with audio)
    3. mpeg corrector - not a header problem so didnt fix anything

Any advice? Any other proggy out there that I might be able to try to fix this thingy?

BTW - it plays fine in winmp (at least before and after error - have not located exact error location).

    Thanx

  3. Besides the fact that isobuster cannot open an mpeg2 file, there is nothing to bust!!!

I might be making progress here...

I opened the mpeg in m2-edit pro, selected the start and finish, and then trimmed it (video only). Ended up with a video file about the proper size in which mpegprop and tmgenc do not report any errors

Interestingly enough, when I trimmed video/audio in m2-edit, i ended up with only video and a 1.4 gig file??? Don't know what that was all about.

The question is now, can I multiplex the audio/video together???
