Has anyone had problems with the DVDs you created playing correctly in Apple's DVD player?

I created a DVD with 2 files I have from EyeTV. They are Parts 1 and 2 of Children of Dune. This DVD displays the main menu or title correctly but when I play the video, it only plays the upper half of the video and leaves a huge blank where the bottom half usually is.

I thought it was a problem with the DVD but then I put in in my DVD player upstairs and it actually plays fine. So now I have a DVD that will play on most DVD players but mine! How bout that? Any thoughts? Thanks.

Are using the newest version of DVD player? A few months back Apple released a newer version and added a few more options....just a suggestion due to the fact that I've never had this problem.

I actually tried playing the file on my iBook which has the Apple DVD Player 3.1.1 I believe and it actually plays fine on it!

I think it has to do with the fact that my new iMac came with DVD Player version 3.2 which I haven't even seen out on the update boards or anything. Anyone else have 3.2 who has problems?

Thanks. I might have to put the old version on my iMac so I can get playback.
