    need a Capture Card transfer vhs tape from vcr to pc.and the best format so can burn it on to dvd.

    If you're in the states then I suggest you just go to CompUSA and buy the program called "AVerDVD EZMaker" which comes with the software you need (NeoDVD), and an AVer PCI capture card. This sells for I believe $40 and is all you will need to do quality captures from VHS or other sources plus the software to edit/author/add menus/encode and burn to DVD+/-R. The format to capture is of course mpeg2. You may also just order this online at www.compusa.com .
