Are they permanent subtitles? If they are it cant be done , unless you chop the bottom part of the video off

  3. Yes, it's permanent.

Chopping them off is one of the options out there, but it doesn't works in my case. This's cuz I only need to eliminate certain part of of the movie, not the entire movie. It doesn't looks good if you chop a certain part of the video and other parts remain the same.

How about overlap with some logos or layers?

Logoaway is a Virtualdub filter than can apply a "smudge" over the affected part. Unless you cut the video up into chunks then it gets applied to the whole thing.

If you do a google search for "Logoaway filter" you'll find it.

The problem is that the filter gets applied to the entire movie, you cannot specify only certain parts. There is a way to get around that if you only want to use it on portions of the movie. The movie has to be broken (cut up) into the parts that need filtering and the parts that don't. Then you filter the parts that need it and lastly reassemble the entire movie. It's labour intensive but can be done with enough determination and time. I succesfully did it for a movie that had messages every ten minutes...approx. 2 hour movie, 10 message sections, 10 without, total of 20 pieces.

For instructions on cutting and editting with Virtualdub check the Edit section on the left side.
