I am trying to backup Toy Story with InstantCopy (it is a preemptive move since the kids like to play with the DVDs). It is on a DVD-9 but it is not really large in size so I am able to set the movie portion at 100% (and extras at around 85%). The length of time to process the movie took around an hour (way shorter than other movies that I have done which took over 4 hours). My question is that if we set it at 100%, does InstantCopy process it faster since it does not need to compress anything? I also noticed that the preview screen that usually shows the part of the movie that it is processing did not show anything (other than the standard InstantCopy screen). Thanks for any comments

Toy Story is 4.63GB...it can easily be strip streamed in 8 mins or less if all you want is just the main movie.

yes in IC you can set it to 100% and it won't touch the video and will go fast. But the extras will take up time since they're not a 100%.
