  1. Has anyone found a successful way to back up lord of the rings??? I'm using instant copy and it keeps crashing. I have read some other threads but have seen no solution. I want to back this up on to 1 dvd-r preferably using instant copy. Could anyone who has successfully done this help me out please.

    Thanxx........................

I have Made a sucessful backup (movie only) of Lord Of The Rings using DVD2ONE. It came out incredably well considering it was a 3 hour movie. From rip - burn took about 1 hr. I don't know if the quallity would be any good if you did all the extras. I only like the movies, the extras are a waste of time.

  3. I done lord of the rings 1 using instant copy, kept the full disc content including menus and has been my best film using instant copy.
p.s programmes used to put the film onto 1 dvd-r were [dvd decrypter to extract the full disc content, then used instant copy to write to disc].

  4. i also used dvd2one for lord of the rings (movie only). it came out really well. if you are going to try to keep the entire movie. its not going to turn out very well if its put on one dvd.

I'm also having problems with IC and LOTR. I get a multicopy error almost immediately after the analyzing is done. I hear long blank periods of video cause the problem. Sure enough at the beginning of LOTR there is a long period of black screen with audio only.
I'm going to try DVD95COPY for the movie only. I'm kind of worried about the quality since it is a large movie. I might end up putting it on 2 disks if the quality is not acceptable.
