I have looked around the internet and at my local Wal-mart. I plan on buying a DVD Player but can't choose between the Norcent DP-300 and the Pioneer DV-250.![]()
I would also like to know how effective TruSurround is (in the Pioneer DV-250) and is it worth the extra cost.

I would look at it like this: If you could choose between a 2003 Kia Sephia for $5,999 or a 2003 Honda Accord for $8,999, which one would you choose. I have had several DVD players and I like the way this one plays DVDs, XVCDs, and DVD-Rs. It's quiet, fast, has excellent performance with layer changes on dual layer DVDs, provides excellent playback with DVD-Rs and XVCDs. C'mon, you know you're going to to get the Pioneer. The Norcent is like a cheap imitation of a cheap DVD player. -
