Hello, I have an old (3yrs old) WinTV card that I tried using to capture video from a VHS. All sorts of problems beyond my understanding. Did some research and have come to eventually buy the ASUS TV Tuner Card. I am currently running a Pentium 4 2.53 Ghz processor with 1gb of pc2700 ram and a Radeon 128bit (32mb) video card. My question is, would this be sufficient enough to capture straight from video? Or is there a better method. I really want to run the capturing on my Pentium 3 1ghz processor. Also, can I still use my WinTV card to do video capturing since I have it?

    Thanks

Yes to both. The system should be adequate, and yes you can use your old capture card. You should be able to use VirtualDub to capture. Read the newbie section to find guides on capturing and converting video.
