hi guys
i just installed winxp on my new pc, and almost everything is running fine
except that i can't seem to get the pc to detect the dv camera when it's plugged in, i used to use win98se and it worked in terms of detecting the camera, got lots of dropped frames though, hence the new pc.
but on xp it doesn't work
i don't have a ti driver, the driver is via ohci compliant 1394 driver (2001)
i've tried this with premiere 6 and also with my
leadtek winfast capture software, but neither detect the dv camera
i have turned the camera on before the os starts, in vcr mode
i've been to the adobe web site, but the support pages didn't cover anything i didn't already know or try
thanks for any help
