Hello Folks,
I'm a newbie to this whole magical conversion stuff so I'm hoping someone out there can help me out ^_^
My Problem: Converting RM to AVI
What I Tried: Used Tinra (with stabilizer)-->Result: An AVI file with
all sound and no video
Used RM converter--->Result: AVI file thats out of
sync with the sound (i've tried
virtual dub to fix it but it just
isn't working)
My System: Pentium III 950 MHz
I'd also like to know what codec I should be using; i've got DivX 4 and 5.0.3.
Thanks!!![/b]

From what I understand, Tinra doesn't work with the latest RealOne (no video, just sound). You need Realplayer 8, I believe. You can still find it.

Check out http://www.eo-video.com/ It can convert .rm to .avi or .mpg. I've had very nice results with it.
