Ulead VideoStudio 5.....NOT HAPPY JAN!

Hi all,

Ulead VS5 keeps giving me errors and wont work. Everytime I start a new project for capture it gives me errors like:

"Setting the capture preview rate error . Failed to build a preview graph"

and;

"Setting the capture preview mode error check if your capture device is working properly. Failed to build a preview gragh".

Does anyone know what this means and how to fix?

It seems to only work at RGB 16 320x240 no higher.

Also, It won't let me choose YUY2 it says it can't be used as codec template. I have downloaded directx 9 and all the latest P4 & XP patches and still no go. Whats going on?

Trash VS 5.0 and get VS 7.0. I never had problems with VS 6.0 or thenew VS 7.0. Many performance improvements have been made, including the use of codecs.
