I've had the pleasure of reading many posts regarding the VCD Header Trick using TMPGEnc 2.5.10.49 because my Sony standalone DVD player doesn't accept SVCDs. I've just started video editing and in fact, this is my first post here at VCDHelp. If I may, I just wanted to share my experience:
The VCD Header Trick WILL work on the TMPGEnc 2.5.10.49 version. Now I use Nero 5.5+ to burn my (S)VCDs and discovered that when I allow Nero to encode the file for VCD compliance it doesn't work. When I choose to disable the "compliance" and let it burn, my Sony DVD player will accept the SVCD.![]()
I hope it's cool for me to post this and not a question because it seems to be a popular topic with regards to TMPGE's newest version.![]()
