  1. My gosh! I can't delete some of my divx files, it says they're being used by another application/process. I've tried rebooting and booting in safe mode, but no luck. The scary part is, some of the files of the movie, "Signs". LOL. Well please help me! :'(

thats a problem with windows xp. there is a way to fix that by going into the registry. or you could just click on the file and wait a couple of hours. then you should be able to delete it.

  4. If you are afraid of messing with the reg at all you can always remove everything in the folder except the file you want to delete (be sure you do not in any way highlight that file;don't click on file and don't use "Thumbnail" as a folder view.) Once you safely have the other files out of the folder, delete the folder.

I believe this is some kind of bug to do with WinXP that I've heard before.

You should research your problem by visiting Microsoft's Knowledge Base: http://search.support.microsoft.com/kb/c.asp?fr=0&SD=GN&LN=EN-US

So, I know you fixed the problem.
