I have a lot of Region 1 movies and i was wondering if there is a place where you can download subtitels in other languages and author the movie with when you make a backup??
Most of the times Region 1 movies only have english subtitels and i would like swedish on my backups.

  2. It's not the problem of finding the subs .

Just search for ' subtitles ' in google and you will find, on the first page alone, at least 2 of the biggest subtitle sites .

    www.dvd.box.sk also has a bigger archive .

The trick is to make DVD subtitles out of text based subtitles, because 90 to 95 %, if not more, of the subs on those subs are text based ones, and not an ifo/sub/idx version directly from DVD .

So far, I have not found a guide to this process, I even do not know if it is possible .

If, in a forest with noone in it, a tree fell, and it struck a mime, would anybody care ?

  5. Ok, not sure what happened warez wise, but you can use MaestroSBT (http://www.doom9.org) to convert a timed text/script file into bmps to be used to author DVDs.
