I don't know why I can't figure this out, I'm having a brain lock...LOL
How can I create a silent wav to add to a JPEG picture so I can use it on a menu screen?
Thanks

To convert a picture into an AVI file, I rename the picture as anything001.jpg and open it with VirtualDUB - it insists on numbered pictures.
Won't add any audio to the AVI, but most authoring programs don't object. If your's does (which one is it?), you can use BJ_M's suggestion and set VirtualDUB to use WAV audio to multiplex with the "picture video". It will automatically generate an AVI file with mute audio and the exact duration required (which is 1/25th of a second for PAL).The more I learn, the more I come to realize how little it is I know.
