  1. If I have a video that have the black edge (like those one of wide screen) that filled almost half of the screen, if there any way I can remove it?

  2. What kind of video? Is it just a single 'black edge' or is your video letterboxed (black bars at top and bottom)?

It's it's a DivX (or other PC file) you can edit it (although doing so will take time). There are several programs that can do this, VirtualDub might be a good choice (as it's freeware, see the tools section to the left).

If it's a VHS, 8mm, x(S)VCD, DVD, etc (ie. meant to be watched on TV) then odds are you should not do anything to it as that black bar/s is keeping the video at the correct aspec ratio.

  4. you can use the zoomplayer to play the file. Zoomplayer has the feature that enables you to change the espect ratio of the screen.

If you have TMPGEnc, use this:

    Source aspect ratio: 1:1 (VGA)
Video arrange Method: No margin (keep aspect ratio)

    Hope That Helps!!! :P
