I read on www.debkafile.net about this, yet another Fire & Shrapnel "peace overture" from the cuddly hero of the disconnected, ivory-tower intelligentsia, Yasir Arafat. It sadly won't be the last; he has too much hate in him to quit.

CNN is not a good news source. Try FOX. CNN is very badly biased and shows an unballanced view to the left. IMHO.

The less biased term NOW used by reporters is "Suicide (Bombing)" especially since both sides in this conflict retaliate with similar destruction and civilian casualties. If you can't see the MAJOR difference in this change of wording ... then I feel sorry for your brainwashed mind.

Let's not spew political propaganda (supporting one side or denouncing another) on a vcd/dvd forum. It's not going to resolve anything (as can be seen in the decades long conflict in that region), only create additional tension and hatred and violence.

I guess that is why Balderick wanted to keep these political-propaganda posts at bay here.

Besides, politics-propaganda should be kept to politicians who have an office to gain or office to keep.

With respect, the initial post was a statement of fact rather than an attempt to open debate on the current situation in the Middle East.

If you read all the posts, you'll see that varied topics such as eating at McDonalds vs Burger King, food and religion and media bias are covered.

But where exactly, is the politics?

I'm assuming you don't live in a place where people attack your friends and relatives by strapping explosives to their bodies and blowing themselves up in the hopes of killing civilians... because if you did you'd call it a terrorist attack as well, which Sefy has every right to do... Call a spade a spade, just because you call it an upside down heart with a stick up it's ass doesn't mean the guy being beat with one is going to call it that.

Besides since when is attacking Civilian targets anything but a terrorist act.. weather or not you think both sides are doing it doesn't change what it is.
