Movie Factory 2-Not enough space for burning?

Hi, I put 4.7 GB in DVD wrriter, required disc space was 4.1, available was 4.4 and it still say -Not enough space-what to do, I have 2 files firs-46min, second 56minutes -both in 4000bit rate.

Anybody?

Did you check on your hard drive space? it could be your hard drive that doesnt have enough space because it needs space to storage the files on the hard drive....

need 4.1 have 4.4, I think this is pretty close to empty (0.3) that maybe need some temp files, so is better if you free some space.

No no, its not HDD space, since I couldnt burn DVD direct from MF2, i decided to make DVD folder, so I start MF2 and my project have 2 MPEG 2 files and one intro file, all is 2.7 GB size, when MF2 finished i checked the size of builted DVD folder and it was 4.73GB, how that is possible!!!

MPEG 2 files I capture contains MPEG layer sound, 4000bit rate,but when I choose settings for project I click on 4000 fair quality, but I saw that in MF2 settings for sound chacged on LPCM, and Do not convert MPEG compliant files was checked.-maybe the sound LPCM is problem. I mean I put 2.7Gb both files and result was 4.73 on 4000bit LPCM sond-so how to do it, to burn 2,7GB on DVD-with authoring??

What will be if I choose 6000bit rate and the sound is by default MPEG layer, and I put my 2 files with 4000 btr??

It sounds as if your audio file was converted to an uncompressed file which would enlarge the final file size of your film. I have MF1 which doesn't present this problem. If the program is transcoding the audio to an uncompressed audio stream when it is not supposed to, maybe you don't have the proper settings applied. If you think you have the program set so it doesn't transcode your audio, get in touch with customer support at Ulead. Maybe they can help.

arvin do not uncheck the box that saying "Do not covvert compliant MPEG files" if is uncheck then re-check should be done automatic you don't need change any thing, but that then again you my not have full compliant MPEG file.
First rule don't mess with the project setting the NO NO unless you know for sure.
You could very well be recording the audio at 44.1KHz when it should be 48KHz in order to be a compliant audio for DVD that must like lee why it converted to LPCM.
Just wondering how did you make the MPEG files in the first place was it by done software or hardware encoding what was you using to do this?.

SHS-here is explanation, I dont know why is it like this but I found the problem.

First to answer you: I am using Leadtek Vivo card and it have default settings for DVD PAL and DVD NTSC, and it convert input signal into MPEG 2 compliant file in real time-PAL 720x576 and MPEG 1 Audio Layer 2-224Kbit stereo. That file is ready for DVD authoring.

Now how I solve the problem. when is CHECKED Do not convert MPEG compliant files-the size of my files is doubled-I dont know why, ex. my 2 files was 2Gb and in MF2 shows 4.1, when is UNCHECKED-the files remain the same size and quality as In made them-capture. So the answer is-UNCHECK "Do not convert MPEG compliant files.

I just burned my problematic DVD from yesterday-following this setting.
