  1. ...to use a "Batch Job" in Vrtual Dub to convert AVI audio files to wav files? I sometimes have about 15 to 20 AVI files to convert and rather than having to do individually, I would like to set a "Run Job" for multiples. Can it be done?

The batch processing list is a text file in the program directory called
"virtualdub.jobs". Since it is a program-generated and -maintained file of
commands, you'll have difficulty creating this file by hand. The most
straightforward way to add entries to this file is to check the "defer
processing" checkbox in the dialog for File > Save [extended/segmented]
AVI. Some operations, such as WAV exporting, cannot be batched as of yet.
