first off i wanted to tell everyone i did read the post on this but the majority of the info that would of helped me was for ntsc to pal. iM trying to convert my xvid and divx files onto a DVD+R. I Use tmpgenc 2.5 plus and ulead dvd factory 2. WHile watching the movie some parts get very jerky, and it does get me pretty pissed. i extract the audio with virtual dub and combine them with tmpgenc. What is the procedure i should follow to get my 2.3 somethin and 2.9 somethin fps divx and xvid files on xvid without all the jerkyness goin on? thanks in advnace, Evan

do you mean 23 and 29 instead of 2.3 and 2.9? you could use 3:2 pulldown to keep it at 23. your dvd player will play it back as 29.

But why do some work and some dont, this is something that really annoys me. If someone could really post a reply to this, with solution on how they fixed there problems please do -

dont get what you mean, i have checked EVERY guide about conversion and they dont help as ive followed every guide throughout. Only posted in here to see if anyone had the same problem with some DVD Conversions.
I have been doing it for a while now and been reading this forum for some time, this jerking is something that has really annoyed me and even wondered if it was something wrong with my computer / program, but seeing other people have the same problem makes me wonder.
i have used 3:2 Pulldown yes EK03
ive used various different programs and begin to get annoyed as this is a problem that persists in many dvd conversions
it might only be slight sometimes, but its annoying
sorry if you cant help any more Conquest10, but dont think i havent tried. Just looking for some feedback -
well, you should learn how to use those quote tags. you did not state before that you had used 3:2 pulldown. i merely stated that because he was converting from film to 29fps. and i don't appreciate you calling my post not a 'real' reply.
