Backup PSX2 PS2 CD Games to DVD-R or DVD+R

Hi everyone,

Can someone tell me how to backup a Playstation 2 CD-ROM game to DVD-R or DVD+R? I don't care about the cost, since prices have already gone way down on DVD media; rather I'm concerned about the wear and tear on my laser from reading CD-R's.

it the game is cd-rom then u can back it up to a cd-r
if it's dvd, then try both format and see which is better, like faster load time and no freezes.

verbatim is good for ps2.

Right now you can't because the cd wont contain the proper DVD checks required.

Maybe someone will figure out how to insert the proper checks one day though

If forgot to add that if you have an original cd and you use verbatim media it keeps you from wearing your laser out (unlike the cheap media)

Also if you have a dvd-rip its best to just backup the original DVD to DVD-r

Backing up a dvd to dvd-r ps2 games is pretty much like copying a cd just use recordnow max or the latest version of nero
