Question regarding playback on dvd player after converting d

Hello,

you all seem to know alot about converting divx to vcd/svcd well i have a question for you people


there is some movies that i just cant find in vcd/svcd so i dl the divx well when i convert the divx to svcd using tmpgenc when i play the svcd on my dvd player every like 10 minutes or so the video like plays on slow motion for like 1 or 2 seconds then gets back to normal

do you know why?

and do you know how i can fix that?

that's odd. it could be that your dvd player is just trying to keep up with the bitrate. it happens.

should i lower the bitrate when converting from divx to svcd?

right now i use 2000 to 2200 depending on length of original divx i try to use the highest possible

the thing is i can play videos encoded at 3000 like when a groups releases a dvd scvd and have no playback probs at all


How do you think i could fix this problem in the future
