help with newbie guide to fitin on one cd

ive gone threw the fitting a vcd onto one disk page a few times and each time i cant get it to change the file size.,...it stays the same no matter wut i change...i have changed to mpeg non standard and that dosnt work for me either before i formatted my machine i did manage to do it but now i cant any ideas? or would someone mail me their template for fittin it onto one cd so i can go from there?
