Hi guys im thinking about getting the Toshiba SDR5002B is this a good buy ? iv noticed on the the dvd writers section that its getting good write ups, also has it got burnproof ?? no point in buying it if its not got that lol

I have one of these. It has buffer underrun protection, which is probably the same as burnproof. It is a great writer and burns at 2x with 'Datasafe ONE' media which is rebadged RITEK 03s, these discs are available from www.blankdiscshop.co.uk, 25 discs for £25. This writer is also one of the best for backing up protected PC games with Clone CD.
I have been very happy with mine and would recommend it to anyone
