really wasn't sure what to put, tea is sweet in the sweeeeeet! sense, but sweet tea (sugary stuff) is nasty!
my girlfriend constantly criticises me for drinking tea, she hates the stuff. she says "your video encoding, your tea drinking, next thing you'll have slippers and a pipe!!" and i always leave mugs by the computer. i'll have to get my camera out and take some snaps of my big tea mugs. including the one that says TEA * TEA * TEA * TEA * all the way round.
mmmmm, mouth watering from thought of tea.....

Agreed, but I was just kinda going for your number one option. For example I will sometimes drink tea just after it is made, still warm, as long as it is sweet. But for best taste chilled and sweet.

in that case Sweet retains my vote. My parents used to over sweeten their tea, before that I didn't think it was possible. Also there used to be a resturant / deli here in Dallas that sold "sweet tea" by the gallon that was devine, too bad they went out of business.

Loverly stuff and good for your heart too! Best served from a brown Teapot.

As in old British films, when all is dour and lost a cup of tea makes everything all right again.

It may have already been pointed out that these items are not mutually exclusive. I like Earl Grey, hot and unsweetened.

suds <- who also likes his ale chilled and unsweetened.

i'm laughing my ass off here! "Tea. Earl Grey. Hot." i don't know why it's funny, it just is! it is in fact the second funniest thing in star trek ever, the funniest is the guy in the original series in the big wheelchair thing with the yellow light on the front....what was his name? oh yeah, captain Spack. Eddie Izzard does a whole routine about how he should have three lights at least, "Yes" "no" "maybe, ask me in a minute" i mean it -is- the 22nd century and all!
not sure i'd want Nutri-Matic Drinks Synthesizer tea! from what i recall, didn't trying to make nice tea destroy the heart of golds' computer?

  27. as with the earlier posters, when people were mentioning Earl Grey, I immediately thought of Captain Picard, who is for my generation, the ONLY captain of the USS Enterprise (hmmmmmmmmmm, new poll????)

As far as tea, being in Texas, there is only one kind of Tea, sweet. You go into a restaurant and you dont have to specify which tea you want.

How bout a new poll for soda? I am going to take a shot here and say that this site is full of tech geeks. For some strange reason, tech geeks are Mountain Dew Lovers. Me personally, I have MT coursing through my veins on a daily basis. Been told that if I ever got cut, the blood would flow green.
