  1. I have a bunch of mpeg clips I created using TMPGenc that I want to import into Avid DV Express. Unfortunately it won't take generic mpeg. Is there a way to convert a single (audio & video) mpeg to AVI? Alternatively, Avid will also import quicktime (I haven't looked for mpeg to quicktime, I'll do that now).

    thanks,
    -Rob

Note: Loss of quality is fine (they're 320x240 now), the mpeg clips will be used for picture in picture clips in a higher quality video.

Open TMPGEnc and close the wizard if it opens. Load the first video. Select File-->Output to file-->AVI. Select the codec, name the file and save it.
    Hello.
