I have only one DVD Rom (Burner) in my machine. Is it possible to use DVDXCOPY to Backup DVDs9?

No.
There is no way to copy DVD9 "on the fly". You need to decrypt it first to your HD and then to do some reenconding/compressing/transcoding/authoring...or whatever you like. -
dvdxcopy processes and saves the files to temp directory of your hard disk in a folder called dvdxcopy (do a seach) you can rename that folder (dvdxcopy in temp) to whatever name before it asks to burn the disk and use external program nero option from advance options. by the way tou can't do on the fly with one dvd-rom with dvdxcopy(correct me If I'm wrong) but you can use your program like nero and record now to burn it later from your hard drive.

Unless I'm hearing you guys wrong, I have to disagree. I use my R/W to rip and write with DVDXCOPY. When its done copying to the HDD, it asks to insert the disc and remove the master.

A dvd-rom and a DVD burner are tottally different things. If your saying you only have a DVD Rom then no it will nt work. If your saying you only have a burner then yes it should work fine.
