I read somewhere in this forum that it was possible to automatically make InstantCopy burn to a DVDR when it finished ecoding. Is this possible with InstantCopy or that is not an available feature. Thanks in advance.

Yes, choose your dvd drive loaded with a blank disk and it will write directly to the blank.

I prefer to have it write to the hard drive (step 1) and then to a disk (step 2) if I intend to make more than one backup copy! Otherwise it would have to go through the whole process again.

Or you could put the disc in another DVD-ROM and duplicate it to the first drive without INSTANT COPY for the second pass!
Just do a DVD to DVD copy!

Does anyone know if the burn using IC7 is as good as using Nero?
    Will IC7 burn at 4x?

You can do the burn with NERO by youself and answer your own question...
Look on MRBass's site for this utility:PDITOOL.zip

IT ALLOWS YOU TO CONVERT THE IC7 "PDI" files to an ISO IMAGE that nero can burn

Warning YOU'll need to have NTFS on at least one drive because the file that this program makes from the FAT 32 friendly PDI segments will be over 4 gig if its a full movie DVD

I have done both, I just wondered if anyone had found problems with using IC to burn. (Audio sync, jitters etc)

Also IC seems to only burn at 2x on my 105 where I know Nero is doing 4x.

Anyone had IC burn at 4x?
