I just encoded a flic from avi to dvd using tmpge and when I finally authored the movie in spruce up i noticed that the video and audio were out of sync. I have had success in the past encoding avi to dvd but this was the first time that my avi source had a frame rate of 24fps instead of 23.976 fps. Could this non-standard avi source framerate be the cause of my problems and if so how can I fix the problem.

    Thanks in advance,
    This is so much fun!

You could use AVIFRATE to change the frame rate - just enter the desired frate. You may have to extract the audio and stretch it somewhat (to 100.1% of original if going from 24 to 23.976 fps), but I'm not sure that this step is needed.
