    I am trying to encode an AVI that uses the Div3 Low-Motion codec (according to gspot). It will encode using TMPGEnc and Movie Factory 2, but I want to learn how to use CCE. After a couple of seconds, CCE always says, "Couldn't find appropriate video codec for DIV3." CCE only seems to work with a VERY FEW of the things I've tried to encode.

    As far as I know, I have the codec installed. It plays when I double click it, and the other encoders seem to work. Why is CCE doing this to me?

    I hope someone can help.

    I am seeing the exact same thing! Have you been able to figure this out? I'm about out of ideas.

    The best way to use CCE is to frameserve to it. Look in the convert guides for info on how to do this.
