  1. I have a cue/bin SVCD movie split over 3 disks.
Disks 1 and 3 burn without a hitch because the cue file holds the following information - nice and simple...

    FILE "C:\xxxxx1.bin" BINARY
    TRACK 01 MODE2/2352
    INDEX 01 00:00:00
    TRACK 02 MODE2/2352
    PREGAP 00:02:00
    INDEX 01 00:04:00

However, disk 2 has the following format and whenever I burn it it burns ok but won't play.

    FILE "C:\xxxxx2.bin" BINARY
    TRACK 01 MODE2/2352
    FLAGS DCP
    INDEX 01 00:00:00
    TRACK 02 MODE2/2352
    FLAGS DCP
    INDEX 00 00:04:00
    INDEX 01 00:06:00
    INDEX 02 00:06:01
    INDEX 03 08:58:11
    INDEX 04 17:43:73
    INDEX 05 25:23:63
    INDEX 06 33:22:21
    INDEX 07 42:59:03
    INDEX 08 52:02:05
    INDEX 09 60:09:14
    INDEX 10 68:45:00

I've tried copying cue1 file to cue2 and changing the details but it was no good. Any other suggestions please?
    that was cool.

  2. Hi

Rather than try and fix the bin/cue, why not extract the mpg from it and use Nero to recreate the svcd cd?
That way you're working with the original mpg.

IsoBuster will extract the MPG file to your HDD from the bin/cue. (And I think it ignores everything in the cue file apart from the name of the bin file - although I could be wrong here)
Right hand click the mpg file within IsoBuster (in one of the folders) and choose the "Extract but filter only M2F2 mpg frames" option.

VCD Easy can do it as well but only from the CD version - use the Tools > MPG Tools page and at the bottom is Cdxa2mpeg - choose the DAT file (actually the MPG file) from the folder on the CD, then choose a location to save the mpg to, then once complete that's the file you need to burn to a new SVCD template in Nero. You lose chapter information but that's hardly important is it?

If you really want the chapter info you could use VCD Easy to recreate a bin/cue set with chapter info as you need - there may be a way to create chapter info in Nero in the SVCD template but if there is I don't know it.

There might be something more obvious than that to someone who really knows what he's talking about but that's my two pennies worth.

But bear in mind that I'm a bit of a newbie myself!
