Hi,
I'm a video newbie. What I need to do is record the video/sound from a 3 day training that's done through a computer. Once recorded I need to be able to edit it, and record onto some format that allows for distribution to the largest audience. And/Or stream over theinternet. My questions are as follows:
Is it best to use a video capture card (PCMCIA for my Dell), record to a hard drive, and then copy?
Or
Use the S-video out from my Dell, to the S-Video In on the Sony camcorder, and record onto miniDV tapes. Which I will then need to place on some kind of media.
What media is best? DVD (but not all of the recipients have DVD players). Most, if not all, have computers with CD-ROMS.
So would some sort of CD be the best format?
Thanks for your help.
