    Well my problem is that i have a oritron 100 dvd player and i had a friend give me a region 2 dvd from the U.K. so i found the region hack and that worked but when i played the disc, the movie plays but it is scrolling down the tv at a fast pace. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Sounds like the dvd is a PAL disc. Try to change the video mode on your player from ntsc to pal. If your player doesn't play pal discs at all then your out of luck.

    My fren succeed to hack the dvd-rom drive and can playback all region code DVD but the problem is when playback DVD it stucks..and not smooth. I think you are out of you luck. To hack DVD-rom is very dangerous action, if fail will damage the DVD-rom drive as I know.
