Just wondering if there any other cheap media out that is reliable like Ritek? As everyone knows Ritek has gone up in price and dont feel like spending an extra $20 for a 50pk. Also i have a BEstBuy giftcard and of course Verbatim dvd-r are out of stock. Is Fuji DVD-r good media? I plan to use it on PS2 games but mostly Movies. I noticed that there are 2 different 10packs of Fuji DVD-r. One is the 2.4x and the other is N/A. whats the diff? thanks

  4. I have not had a bad disk yet using optodisc 470-000. Sells for about 90-95 cents in bulk.

  5. I have tried the Fugi DVD-R and had good results with them in my Pioneer 105 burner. Burned at 2x using Prassi Primo DVD. They were made OEM by Taiyo Yuden. I do not know if all Fugi are Taiyo Yuden or if they use other companies as well. I do not have a PS2, so cannot help you with that.

Not all Fuji is made by Taiyo Yuden. Every Fuji I've ever bought was manufactured by Taiyo Yuden.

Just not sure what cheap media to get. I have seen several out there that are $1 or under per disc. Hate to buy them if they dont work on my dvd player or PS2.

i know at Rima they have Optodisc pretty cheap:
    -branded 50pk for $40
    -gold tops 50pk for $41
    -silver tops 50pk for $41

Are these good? whats the diff. between all 3?

Verbatim and Fuji are the best kind of DVD-R to buy.

Cheap 2x Princo discs work fine (whitetops). GoRoyalPc.com.

Cheap 1x Princo are fine (whitetops) meritline.com, allmediaoutlet.com

Warning: data on a Princo tends to go bad after the 3.9 gig area. Same for all cheapos to be honest.

If you want quality, get Apple for $3 each at outpost.com. Maxell cheap at Office Depot about $3 each.
